It's time for The Greeting Farm's 3-D challenge! Check it out!

Hi there everyone! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

I am happy to be presenting The Greeting Farm's 3-D challenge today! For the challenge, I placed "For You Anya" onto a little milk carton carrier. At the Target dollar spot they had some little glass milk jars inside a box. I thought that it would be perfect to use as a cute gift, decorated up and filled with candy! I did just that, with the help of "For You Anya".  =)
If you love her, just click HERE and you will magically land into The Greeting Farm store where you can snatch her up immediately! Convenient, right?

The challenge runs for one month, February 1, 12 am CST to February 28, 12pm CST.

You can enter this month long challenge twice to make things fair...and remember there is a prize...$50.00 to the Greeting Farm site! Eeeekkk!!!! Please play along!

Were you last month's winner? Be sure to head to the Greeting Farm blog to check!

Click HERE to head over to The Greeting Farm Blog and be able to play along with the challenge!

For the 3-D challenge you need to make something 3 dimensional so...not a card. Use your imagination for this one! Just remember that a Greeting Farm image needs to be the focus of your project.

Want to see my project? Here it is! Thanks again for stopping by!

Tear bear layouts for sale on e bay, if you're interested. =)

So I've been wanting to make some layouts to sell. It gives me a chance to make layouts that are a little more cutesy than I can use myself (my kids are not little any longer) and make some extra money on the side. I just listed these two layouts on e bay. I'll provide you with one link, and from that one you can find my other layouts, cards and altered items on e bay if you're interested.

Here's the link:

I'm not which layout this link goes to but as I said, once you find me in there you can easily see my other items for sale.

Thank you!

A few random cards & projects from December.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Today I went through my blog folder and pulled out some projects that I haven't shown on my blog yet. These are a few things that I made in December 2016.

First, I want to show you these cards that I made with one of my new MFT stamp and die sets. I was dying over this set when I saw it on IG and had to buy it right away. It's SO fun to work with! I made two cards and I love them both. I've used this set countless times already.

The card on the right is a shaker card. It's SO CUTE!!!!

Every year we go to my MIL's house for something that we call Noni Christmas. Basically with her kids moving and having families of their own, it was getting difficult for her to have the family all together at Christmas so she started celebrating a few weeks before Christmas instead. With some people living out of state, it's still hard to get absolutely everyone together but she still tries. ANYWAY, this year I made ornaments for the adults that attended. I took a plain glass ornament ball from Michael's and filled it with a tiny tree, some fake snow, sequins and glass beads, jingle bells and two little papers that say "Noni Christmas" and "2016" on them in glitter paper. That sort of commemorates Noni Christmas for everyone that year. They were a hit!

This is a tag that I made using "Krystal" from The Greeting Farm. She's one of my favorites for sure! Want to visit the store yourself? Just click here: thegreetingfarm.com

This is a gift that I made for my MIL for Christmas. I bought a frame from Michael's that looked sort of like a worn clipboard with the background like a weathered board and the clip was metal, distressed and had a rose on it. I added a photo of her with my husband to it and then thought hm...that's not quite enough. I decided to back up the photo with several layers of paper and acetate and then added texture with modeling paste and some flowers, which I painted. She loved it. I think. lol

That's all for today. Please stop by again soon, I love the comments and feedback!

Get Well Soon spinner card!

Hi there!

Today I want to show you two identical (nearly) cards that I made using The Greeting Farm's clear stamp set, "Get Well Soon".....you're going to want this set, I guarantee it! And if you're dying for it, just click the link below and that will take you directly to the set in the shop. You're welcome!

I made my card base fairly simple because I put the image onto a spinner, so the image travels all around the page in a circle. Interactive cards are so fun!

I hope you like this card and head over to the shop to pick  this set up! Thanks for stopping by!

Last day of Previews for January! Check out "Get Well Soon"!

Hello everyone!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
Today is the last preview day for The Greeting Farm's January 2017 release. The stamp set is filled with more mini characters as well as accessories and don't forget the coordinating dies! You need those! This set is called "Get Well Soon" and it's just so darn cute!

There are four characters in this set, so for the preview card I wanted to show them all. I decided to stamp two of the images along with some of the little accessories all over the background. I only added a tiny bit of grey to the images to keep them subtle. Then I colored up the other two characters in full color and blasted the color with a fun polka dotted polaroid and matching stripes. I added a mint swirl behind the polaroid and bam....I was done!

I do hope to see you during our blog hop on the 15th! Make sure that you stop by thegreetingfarm.com and my blog to play along!

Until then!
~Carol  =)

Preview day featuring Hi Anya!

Are you ready for the second preview day for January 2017? This cutie pie is called "Hi Anya" and she will be available on the 15th of this month! By the way, make sure you make some time to participate in our blog hop on the same day! "Hi Anya" also has a coordinating die, so be sure to pick that up as well to simply your life...fussy cutting can be such a drag!

I almost always make two cards every time that I need to make one. That's a good tip if you want to build up the cards in your stash. If you need to make a card, it's just as easy to do two that are nearly the same if not identical. Then you have one to send right away and one to tuck away for the next time you need a card. The cards below are pretty  much the same, I just used different papers which were all from my scraps, colored up Anya with different colors, paper pieced her cute little dress, added flowers and sequins and called it good.

Check out thegreetingfarm.com today for inspirations, contests, blog hop info, and of course....shopping!!!!

Until tomorrow!

It's preview time! Check out "Little Party" from The Greeting Farm!

Hello everyone! GUESS WHAT? It's preview time! The Greeting Farm has several new stamp sets that will be released soon and you're going to want to snatch them all up for your GF collection! Today we are previewing a set called "Little Party".

For this card I used a pre made colored card base and then die cut it so that it would fold and flip. I colored up two of the images from the set plus the banner and die cut them all out with yes....coordinating dies! I don't know about you but I am always thrilled when stamps come with coordinating dies. It makes fussy cutting obsolete! Aren't those little girl images adorable?? And yes, if you're wondering, these are mini stamps.

When you open my card that circle does a little flip and then you can see the party scene that I added to the inner circle. I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment and then cut out the table, cup, pitcher and cake.

This is just another view for you with part of the card folded a bit.

Please head over to The Greeting Farm today, check out their blog, do some shopping and prepare for release day AND the blog that will be happening on the 15th of this month!

See you tomorrow for another release day peek!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Hi everyone!!!

Today I would like to share with you a card that I made using a stamp set from The Greeting Farm called "Let it Snow".....and by clicking that link down there, you can magically appear at the shop to buy it right away! It is currently available as I'm writing this blog post.  =)

This card is a pre made tri fold card with a window. I embossed the entire card with polka dots to simulate snow balls. Adding embossing gives your card a little more interest, especially if you are planning to keep your card fairly simple. To the front I added a patterned paper birch tree die and a few snowflakes that I die cut using glitter paper. You can see the bear peeking through the window with his coffee.

When you open the card you can see the plat bear in a scene. I added a snow ground and a few more patterned paper birch trees in the back ground. I also paper pieced his scarf because that's something I LOVE to do.

When you open the card one more time you find a 'thanks' sentiment, along with a place to write your own greeting inside and another snow flake. The card is simple but doesn't need a lot of hoopla to be extra cute. I love how this one turned out!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Stay tuned for more projects from The Greeting Farm, plus more!

The Greeting Farm's ANYTHING GOES challenge!

Hello everyone!

I am so thrilled to be presenting The Greeting Farm's ANYTHING GOES challenge today! Although there will be just one card on TGF website, I actually created two similar cards for this challenge to show on my personal blog. In each of the cards I used SSSC No. 022 Krystal because I LOVE HER! And if you love her too, just click HERE and you will magically land into The Greeting Farm store on her link where you can snatch her up immediately! Convenient, right?

The challenge runs for one month, January 1, 12 am CST to January 31, 12pm CST.

You can enter this challenge twice to make things fair...and remember there is a prize...$50.00 to the Greeting Farm site! Eeeekkk!!!! Please play along!

Were you last month's winner? Be sure to head to the Greeting Farm blog to check!

Click HERE to head over to The Greeting Farm Blog and be able to play along with the challenge!

I'll post a few supplies other than The Greeting Farm image for each card for those of you that like to know those little details. If you have any other questions, though, just feel free to ask! I'll do my best to answer all of your questions promptly.

So for this first card I used just a plain card base from Michael's and background paper from American Crafts called Wish List. Behind the frame is silver glitter paper from Michael's. The pop up frames are made by Queen and Company, and inside the pop up I used Stampendous shaved ice and random sequins. I used wood veneer, some die cuts of snowflakes from Lawn Fawn and some ephemera from the My Mind's Eye Sugar Plum collection. The second card is basically all of the same products except that the background paper is from Pink Paislee's Snow Village stack. I used a combination of Chameleon pens and Copic markers to color my image.

Now for the photos!!!

I hope you enjoyed checking out my cards. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
