An altered cigar box for Christmas.

Hello everyone!

So today I posted a video on my You Tube channel featuring an altered box that I made for my dear friend, Christina.

Here's the link:

Normally I wouldn't reveal who the project was made for ahead of time but her photo is literally right on the front. lol Couldn't really be sneaking with that one. The gift is for Christmas and yes, I'm prepping ahead of time, which for me is the way to go. Last year I was behind, did no prep at all during the year and man, did I regret it. December was full of disappointments (in myself for not properly preparing) and a LOT of stress. I vowed not to let that happen this year!

Check out the video, if you'd like....and here are a few photos.

Let me know if you have any questions at all.

I discovered that if you go into a cigar store, they sell cigar boxes. Who would have known that? lol They are actually a great price and come in all shapes, sizes and wood grains. Heaven! I spray painted this one gold, added flowers gifted to me by Amador (thank you!!!) and some Graphic 45 paper that my friend Kelly (thank you!!!) gave me last year. I added a frame from Michael's that I sprayed gold to match the box, then added our photo together onto the frame and covered it in Glossy Accents. And there you go. Christmas gift. DONE! Well, maybe I added a thing or two to the inside of the box but yeah. =)

See you soon!

  1. Beautiful gift! Is something she can use all year round :)
